You are already familiar with our fabrics. We are committed to sustainability and social responsibility, and how and where those textiles are transformed into lovely clothing is crucial to how we think about, approach, and value sustainability.
We take pride in the fact that it took us almost 8 months to find the right partner to make our beautiful clothing and accessories. At the forefront of our thoughts was how our partners would treat their artisans. As our partners, do they treat their workers and artisans fairly and with respect, pay market rate, could they demonstrate the absence of child or forced labour? Our selected partner is a family run manufacturer in central Guangdong Province of China. We have had the pleasure of visiting them and meet their workers. They have a small team of 30 who are all paid above market rate and uncommonly benefit from overtime pay. The family that owns our manufacturers treat their workers like family and treat them with respect.
Each of our products is handcrafted and digitally printed. Digital printing is less environmentally damaging and more sustainable than traditional methods, uses less water and energy, produces less waste, and does not require harsh chemicals.Digital printed fabrics are also easier to recycle than traditional fabrics. Letβs be honest digital printing still requires energy and resources to produce but substantially less than the traditional methods still in use in large scale productions.
